Schweizer: Islamist activists want power, not assimilation

Image
The investigative journalist warns that Muslim immigrants are being pressured not to integrate — but instead to influence US policy and culture. Investigative journalist Peter Schweizer did a deep dive into how Islam is being used as a vehicle to change American culture and shift power into the hands of one political party in his new book, “The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use  Immigration as a Weapon.” And while it is not just Islam being pushed on Americans, the  religion  is by far one of the most troubling — and Schweizer has the receipts. “I’m going to read you two quotes, just because I think it’s better than me just saying it, and it gives an indication of where these activists are coming from,” Schweizer tells  BlazeTV  host  Allie Beth Stuckey  on “Relatable.” The first quote Schweizer reads is from the head of Florida’s Council on American-Islamic Relations.

JUST IN: Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Signs “ICE On Notice” Executive Order to Prosecute ICE Agents

Image
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order on Saturday, launching investigations into ICE agents and laying the groundwork for criminal referrals for alleged law violations.  The order “creates a framework for public accountability in the event federal agents violate local or state law while operating in Chicago,”  a  press release  from Johnson’s office reads.  “Nobody is above the law. There is no such thing as ‘absolute immunity’ in America,”  Johnson said in a statement .  “The lawlessness of Trump’s militarized immigration agents puts the lives and well-being of every Chicagoan in immediate danger. With today’s order, we are putting ICE on notice in our city. Chicago will not sit idly by while Trump floods federal agents into our communities and terrorizes our residents.”

Investigators Can’t Find Tapes Showing Fulton County’s 2020 Ballot Count Started At Zero, Board Says

Image
2020 election scandal in Fulton County, Georgia’s most populous county, continues to grow with new details revealed in a State Election Board (SEB) meeting last Wednesday — and now, a week later, with an FBI raid seeking election documents from the county.  Fulton County was notoriously plagued with issues like long lines and voting machine malfunctions in the 2020 primary election, problems The New York Times  described  as “a full-scale meltdown.” The problems continued through November’s Election Day and beyond, prompting  concerns  about votes being counted without proper supervision, among other things. The county’s repeated failures in 2020 so degraded trust in Fulton County’s ability to administer elections that the election director was forced to  resign .

5-year-old Liam Ramos returns home as Trump administration shifts tone amid nationwide anti-ICE protests

The phrase “ICE Out” echoed across the nation this weekend as protesters took to the streets, calling for an end to the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown. Meanwhile, a preschooler and his father, taken by Immigration and Customs Enforcement over a week ago,  returned home  following a judge’s ruling. Protesters marked a second day of rallies and marches  Saturday  after  a nationwide strike on Friday  prompted a shutdown of schools, workplaces and businesses from coast to coast. As demonstrations kicked off Saturday, President Donald Trump said he instructed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem  not to intervene in protests  or unrest in Democratic-led cities unless local officials formally request assistance. Noem echoed Trump’s push to ease tensions in Minnesota Sunday, telling Fox News, “We can always do better, and we learn from every situation that we’re in.” The comments mark a shift in tone from last weekend, when the secretar...
